HRWA Water System Improvements
Huron Regional Water Authority; Wade Trim, Inc.

An innovative start-up and testing approach using raw water expedited MDEQ’s approval process and enabled the Huron Regional Water Authority (HRWA), formed by the City of Bad Axe and Village of Port Austin, to begin generating revenue immediately after plant start-up. Wade Trim designed the HRWA’s regional water supply system that features the first full production US Filter CMF-L microfiltration facility in Michigan.
