Walnut Lake Pumping Station Reconstruction

A holistic solution to control sanitary sewer overflows has demonstrated that sanitary and combined sewer overflow issues can be successfully integrated to address wet weather capacity issues. A unique pumping scheme enables the station to lift flows under differing head conditions to west and eastbound force mains. Horizontal directional drilling was used to construct the force main.
