M-1/M-102 Intersection Construction Management
Detroit/Ferndale, Michigan; Parsons Brinckerhoff Michigan, Inc. (PB)

The M-1 (Woodward Avenue) and M-102 (8 Mile Road) intersection was the state's first three-tiered intersection.  The Michigan Department of Transportation's rehabilitation incorporated extensive public involvement and context sensitive solutions, including photographic panels depicting Michigan's transportation past.  PB performed construction management with subconsultants SOMAT Engineering, Inc., and Surveying Solutions, Inc.
