Lake St. Clair Clean Water Initiative

A 12-year and $80 million sanitary sewer upgrade program was conducted in the Cities of Eastpointe, Roseville, and St. Clair Shores to eliminate the discharge of untreated combined sewage into Lake St. Clair during large rain events. In 2006, MDEQ certified that the program had met its goals.
