M–63 Bridge over Higman Park Road Reconstruction
Michigan Department of Transportation, Coloma TSC City of St. Joseph, City of Benton Harbor, Benton Township, Berrien County Micro-Composite Multi-Structural Formable (MMFX) reinforcing steel is an alternative material being investigated by DOTs in a quest to achieve a 75 year bridge deck service life. This was a pilot project for the use of MMFX reinforcing steel in the reconstructed bridge deck, barriers, and backwalls.
