Membership in ACEC of Michigan is an investment in your business and
profession. It offers tremendous opportunities and results. Furthermore,
as a member of ACEC of Michigan, you are supporting strong
representation in the legislature and with government agencies.
ACEC of Michigan offers 2 levels of Membership: as a full member firm or
as an affiliate member firm. Full membership is available to firms who
maintain a Michigan office and are engaged in the independent practice
of engineering, surveying, architecture and other related scientific
professions. The by-laws require firms applying for full membership to
meet state licensing requirements. Affiliate membership consists of
business firms or special institutional, societies or alliances that
provide valued assistance to council activities. Any firm that provides
business support, professional services, or products complimentary to
the services provided by member firms is invited to join.
Our consulting engineering member firms employ more than 5,000
engineers, architects, geologists, soil scientists, hydrologists,
surveyors, and other highly educated and experienced professionals.
These firms are also members of ACEC - a national federation with more
than 17,000 principals in over 5,500 member firms across the nation
devoted to:
* Improving business practices
* Representing the industry at local, state, and federal government levels
