AELC holds successful 'Meet & Greet' with Macomb area Legislators
Engineers share key priorities with legislators; receive important feedback on various issues -

ACEC held its fourth legislative 'meet & greet' this Friday to provide members an opportunity to share key legislative priorites with local legislators. AIA & MSPE joined the Council for the event held at the Shelby Township offices of ACEC member firm Anderson, Eckstein & Westrick.
Legislators attending included: Senator Alan Sanborn (R-Richmond), Rep. Kim Meltzer (R-Clinton Twp.), Rep. Fred Miller (D-Mt. Clemens), Rep. Jennifer Haase (D-Richmond), and Rep. Peter Lund (R-Shelby Twp.).
Transportation funding, statute of limitations, and green initiatives were included in the discussion. Other sessions were held in Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Livonia earlier this year.
