Spicer was responsible for designing a new 2,815-foot-long shipping dock for Consumers Energy at the Karn/Weadock Generating Complex on the Saginaw River . The dock is a critical link between ships unloading up to 15,000 tons of coal per delivery and Consumers' capacity to generate enough power for 1.3 million people.
